The Legacy Foundation LBG is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to creating a brighter future for marginalized communities in Ghana. Based in Kumasi Asokwa, Ashanti Region, our organization is driven by a passion for justice, equality, and human well-being.Our Mission
To empower marginalized communities, particularly women and children, by promoting gender justice, improving access to quality education and healthcare, and ensuring environmental safety and sustainability.Our Objectives
- Gender Justice and Equality: We strive to create a society where women and girls have equal opportunities, rights, and freedoms. Our programs focus on promoting women’s empowerment, challenging discriminatory practices, and advocating for policy changes that benefit women and girls.
- Improve Lives of Children: We believe that every child deserves access to quality education and healthcare. Our initiatives aim to improve educational outcomes, provide healthcare services, and support the overall well-being of children in marginalized communities.
- Water, Sanitation, and Environmental Safety: We recognize the importance of a safe and healthy environment for human well-being. Our programs focus on improving access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and promoting environmental sustainability practices.
